Tucked away in a corner on the second level of myVillage at the Serangoon Gardens, this fresh associate to the WildRocket team; attempts wholeheartedly to satisfy the stomachs of finicky residents of the area with real comfort food.

Settle in for their decent priced set lunches or weekends only all-day brunches and if time permits; squander it away. Regardless of when you prefer to visit, I recommend to mindlessly opt for any burgers; you will not err with that. They are the professionals when it comes to these wholesome treats.

When WildRocket suggests that their cuisines be categorised as Mod Sin (Modern Singaporean), it was obsuring but browsing through its sister restaurant’s menu; I found proof.

BBQ Cha Siew open pork burger and Soft Shell chilli crab burger? What creative minds they have.

I had a set lunch ($11.90++) which comprises a small burger or pasta of the day, a midget bowl of mushroom soup with truffle oil and a cup of coffee or tea.

Mushroom soup was lofty. The truffle oil helped boost the taste and we were contented.

Without much consideration, I chose a burger as a main; THE Wild Rocket beef burger to be exact.

Hand-molded daily, the 100% Australian ground beef would only be prepared when an order is taken. Medium well-done, the patty was divine. Coupled with some sun-dried tomatoes and to give the taste a twist; sarawak pepper cream. The tinge of spiciness was essential, I loved that burger!

The buddy decided on a much bolder choice; Blue Cheese & William Pear Beef Burger. Sandwiched between a halved well-toasted sesame bun, is a Bleu d’Auvergne cheese infused 150grams beef patty; lucious Walnut butter and several slices of candied parboiled pears.

Held firmly with my fingers and digged in by chomping down the first bite; I felt gay.

Lively atmosphere, excellent service and piquant fare. I will be back~
