AiMakan was on the verge of breaking down from all the festive feasts she had. That should explain why I have been missing in action on my blog.
I am back with a whole list of goodies to recommend and they will all be short entries to start getting readers interested with me again. 
Here I am with a 400-Gram cake from IKEA. Sounds boring maybe but keep reading please. 
After the major adjustments on their once well received Meatballs, I was reluctant to frequent the restaurant like how I use to. They conveniently phased out all my favourites, namingly Potato Salad and Daim Cake.
This is my recent love, Almond Chocolate & Butterscotch Cake ($9.80/400grams). It has minute similarities to the Daim Cake which manage to excite me when I saw it on the shelf.
A person without a sweet tooth might despise this but if you adore sugar, dig in with a spoon and indulge away.
Restaurant Slice ($3.50).
An almond base cake with smooth, creamy milk chocolate and crispy butterscotch, layered and covered with butter cream and decorated with chocolate-coated marshmallow pieces. Sounds incredible, no?
I am skeptical about the inconsistency of ingredients for the restaurant and the whole 400grams portions. If you notice the vast difference of the toppings between the slice above compared to the store bought, you might understand what I mean. I could only say, you get what you pay for.
Verdict: definitely worth a try.
