I have never been a fan of those sugar loaded evil treats, mooncakes. Believe it or not, I have not laid a finger on one for the past two years. Proud of it till this year, I had no choice but to savour some for reviews. Kill me already because I can’t keep myself away.

I managed to take these photographs in the comfort of my own home, not all that bad I must say. Do let me feel proud just for today.
I have friends who just adore snowskin mooncakes and I can never understand why. Not so much of a sweet-tooth, I have problems consuming them until these. They were less toothsome, a joy to enjoy during the festive days and hopefully less burden on my tummy.
I simply love the Bailey Truffle & Mint but I apologise for the fact that my chopping skills were so horrible, the cross sections were horrendous to show. The rest did not quite excite me as much but they were nonetheless tasty.

My favourite mooncake of all times is the Golden Jade. Park Hotel Group has done it well once again with a smooth pandan infused lotus paste.
I was however, also taken aback by the one with Macadamia nuts. Hurray to lesser sugar and I might just have a new love after years of being loyal.
